Graduating Students of SLTCFI Attends Recollection

A two-day recollection activity for the graduating students of SLTCFI was held last March 20-21, 2009 at Imperial Building, Daraga, Albay, which aims to strengthen the students’ spiritual formation and morale behavior.

Sisters Annie, Inday and Loles from the congregation of Santa Rafaela facilitated the two-day event along with three seminarians who provided able assistance.

Various activities were conducted in order for the students to reach a deeper understanding of their purpose and find the Lord’s presence in their experiences. The meaningful activities include candle giving, sharing of experiences and sentiments, reflections while listening to religious music, and moments of prayer.

Rev. Father Joseph Salando Vice-chancellor and parochial vicar from St. Rapahel Parish, Legazpi City together with another priest gave the sacrament of confession to the students. The recollection was concluded with a mass celebration officiated by Father Salando.

The said recollection provided a means for the graduating students to realize the importance of building a harmonious relationship with their classmates, friends, mentors and parents. More importantly they were inspired even more and was enlightened to develop and strengthen their faith and spirituality especially that they are already about to face the challenges of the bigger world.
